Yeah... "Infinitely extendable API" and all such. Roughly translated as "we
can't live without API bloat". Frankly, judging by the GNOME codebase people
who designed the thing [GNOME] are culturally incompatible with UNIX.

User Friendly Interfaces

“*Gnome seems to be developed by interface nazis, where consistently the excuse for not doing something is not “it’s too complicated to do,” but “it would confuse users”.” – Linus Torvalds

The Gnome developers are experts in providing a really user friendly experience!

Can you guess what are 'Sticky Keys'? And what is the difference between the "Cancel", "OK", and "Don't activate" buttons?

Gnome is Very Lightweight

Take a look at the Gnome System Monitor and you will see how lightweight.

In Gnome the hog monitor is the biggest hog of all!
